The Strawn City Council on March 17 adopted a resolution authorizing representatives to assist the city in submitting an application to the Texas Water Development Board for funds for water-plant improvements. Alderman Delane Abbott moved for adoption and Mayor Pro-Tem Aron Johnson seconded; the motion carried 5-0.
