Emergency Management Agency Director Patrice Kurzejeski requested approval to apply for a $5,000 Coosa Valley RC&D grant to implement a Free Smoke Detector and Rain Gauge Distribution Program for St. Clair County residents; the grant is 100% reimbursable and the commission approved applying for the grant. Kurzejeski also requested purchase of CPR and AED instructional materials from Shop CPR for $659.20 to support CPR/AED training for county employees; the purchase was approved and will be implemented within the county safety program.
