The WEST ORANGE-COVE CISD Board of Trustees voted 4-0 on Oct. 15, 2025, to give Rolanda Holifield the same pay increase that other district employees received while denying the additional relief she sought in a Level Four DGBA grievance. Board President LaTricia Stroud moved the meeting into closed session before the vote; "Do we have a motion to go into closed session?" she asked during the public record of the meeting.
