The board approved provisional internship permits (PIPs) for two educators, allowing them additional time to complete subject‑matter competence requirements and participate in internship programs that lead to credentialing. Assistant Superintendent Melanie Jones explained the permits enable educators to work toward finalizing their credentials while serving in district positions.
