Board signs 9th amendment with Oregon Health Authority to fund STI work

Katie Russell, Public Health director, briefed the board on a 9th amendment to the Oregon Health Authority IGA (Agreement #185815) that would provide $234,947 to support a rural health transformation program focused on sexually transmitted infection work. Russell said the funds would support epidemiology capacity, education campaigns and mobile clinics targeted to remote communities and unique populations such as residents at Deer Ridge prison who have been a notable contributing population for some STI case volumes.
