Conference committee rolls over multiple housing measures to April 27 for final releases

The conference committee went through a sequence of housing measures and, for most, managers said they had either agreement in principle or were close to agreement but were awaiting final CD1 language, Attorney General clearance, or administrative releases. The bills the managers specifically identified for reconvening included HP 1711 (HD1, SD2), HP 173 (HD1, SD1) on school impact fees, HP 1718 (HD1, SD1), HP 1740 (HD2, SD2) related to the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation, HP 1920 (HD1, SD2) on the low-income housing tax credit, SB 2069 (SD2, HD1) on dwelling unit revolving funds, SB 2338 and SB 2554 as read on the record, and others. Managers repeatedly asked to reconvene on Monday, April 27 at 10:05 a.m. in Conference Room 224 and noted outstanding items such as final CD1s and Attorney General or committee clearance.
