Jefferson County commissioners on June 24 approved a revised Buildings & Grounds Maintenance Tech 3 job description that consolidates several maintenance classifications and raises the position from grade 18 to grade 19. Buildings & Grounds leadership told the board the revision aims to simplify job classes and allow internal promotion pathways while aligning pay with comparable positions.
