Board authorizes one-year Pace Schedule contract for department scheduling and equipment tracking

Chief Gerber asked the board to approve a one-year purchase of Pace Schedule, software to centralize schedules, equipment inventories, certifications and timekeeping records. "This is a contract, so it's $2,350 for the first year cover. And then if we want to lock in for a longer term, we can lock that price. They do anticipate anywhere from 5% up to a 5% increase each year," Chief Gerber said. The board moved, seconded and authorized Chief Gerber to sign the contract; the action was approved by voice vote.

Staff said the software would reduce time spent maintaining multiple documents and help track equipment issued to personnel.
