The Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously Aug. 17 to approve three variance requests for a development on Chapparal Street submitted by J. David Hickman. The approved changes increase allowable density from 50 to 53 units, reduce the enhanced side-yard setback to 20 feet, and permit a ground sign with an area of 102.66 square feet.
