PCDC lays out 2026 goals, emphasizes pipeline and workforce development

Jerry Jones, executive director of the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation, told the joint PCDC–City Council work session that the agency’s 2026 priorities center on building a pipeline of ready projects and strengthening workforce connections. "These are the goals of the PCDC," Jones said as he tied the corporation’s work to the city’s Aspire 2040 master plan and to PCDC’s strategic plan (SEDS). Jones outlined staff roles, market clusters targeted for attraction and a mix of retention and attraction activity—"60 to 80%" retention and expansion, with "20 to 40%" new attraction, he said.
