Staff told the committee the city’s annual trail improvements program for FY26 includes seven projects that have completed surveying and environmental review and are approaching procurement. Because several of the projects are complex—requiring surveying, environmental mitigation and pedestrian-bridge work—staff said the city intends to bundle them and procure a single contractor to perform the scope, rather than contract each small project separately.
