Transfer station reports concrete pad prep, gate damage and staffing needs
Transfer station operator Greg Heavenan thanked staff for repairs, said crews are preparing a concrete pad behind bulky-waste bins, warned of wait times while operating with two bins, and said the new rolling gates have been damaged by vehicle impacts.

Greg Heavenan, speaking for the transfer station, opened by thanking staff who repaired an overhead fan and personnel who have prepared the site for a soon-to-be-poured concrete pad behind the bulky-waste bins. “They leveled it out, they put the gravel in, they're doing uh pitching it for the water,” Heavenan said, and said concrete work is expected but a firm pour date was not yet available.
