The Lewiston City Council voted unanimously July 21 to increase monthly garbage collection fees by $1 per can after officials said collection costs had risen roughly 4 percent. Councilmember F. Bodily moved to open the Master Fee Schedule and make the adjustment; Councilmember Trexler seconded and the roll call vote was 5–0 in favor.
