The council held a public hearing on the 2025 Comprehensive Plan update, which staff described as the city’s primary document for shaping growth, developer requirements, and public works priorities. Planning staff noted the Planning Commission voted on Oct. 25 to recommend the update and that the Transportation Element is being refined and should receive focused attention at the Nov. 17 meeting.
