The Lynden City Council held a second public hearing on the Comprehensive Plan update and the Transportation Element. Staff noted updates to the 20-year project list and proposed a Transportation Impact Fee increase to $2,973 per trip from the current $2,168; the Pepin Creek Subarea projects were indexed rather than re-scoped pending further review in 2026. Mayor Scott Korthuis opened the hearing at 7:37 p.m. and closed it at 7:40 p.m.; written comments from Brian Heinrich (PSE) and Josh Cristy (JWR) were entered into the official file.
