On July 7, 2026 the White Cloud City Council voted to adopt the Newaygo County Hazard Management Plan 2026 edition as the city's official hazard mitigation plan by passing Resolution 2026-26. Councilmember Herm Becker moved the resolution and Councilmember Damon Anuci seconded; the roll-call vote was unanimous.
