Donor offers $10,000 a year for Firefly Field maintenance, tied to fee and programming changes

Council President Eric Kudrich opened the Oct. 8 meeting and invited Joe Biondo of the Biondo Memorial Foundation to describe a foundation gift for Firefly Field. Biondo said he would "contribute $10,000 a year, earmarked for Firefly Field" and explained that the park recently received $10,000 to replace four pavilion tables and a garbage receptacle. The meeting record shows 17 members of the public were present.
