Trustee Marjorie Barnes moved that the district adopt a property tax rate of $0.94810 for tax year 2025, which she described in the motion as "effectively a decrease of 3.069% in the tax rate from the prior year," with the rate split into $0.74810 for Maintenance and Operations and $0.20000 for Debt Service. Trustee lleana Garza‑Rojas seconded the motion; the board approved it 6–0.
