Council approves Harvest Acres development agreement allowing bonus density and infrastructure commitments

The Harvest Acres single-family subdivision was approved with bonus density (developer proposing 11 lots where base zoning allows 7 and bonus allows up to 14) in exchange for infrastructure improvements including right-of-way, access, water, sewer and storm drainage; the agreement includes cost-sharing and reimbursement for Master Plan infrastructure.

Scott Perkes presented the Harvest Acres Development Agreement for an RE-1 single-family subdivision near the planned 2500–2600 North corridor. The developer proposed 11 lots under bonus-density provisions (base zoning permits 7; bonus allows up to 14) and agreed to construct public improvements including acquisition of future roadway right-of-way, 2500 North access improvements, water and sewer installation, secondary water facilities, and storm drainage infrastructure.
