The board granted a variance to allow Jason Anderson to build a garage closer to the south property line at 928 Buford Road to avoid a sinkhole and existing drainage and septic areas. Staff noted the lot was created in 2016 and that the drainage easement and sinkhole could be considered non-self-imposed hardships; the applicant said storm-water and soil-area amendments had been completed and that he had obtained state approvals on soil reductions.
