The Wilson County Board of Zoning Appeals approved a pair of one-foot variances to permit a proposed pool at 1225 Ben Forkham Drive to be 7 feet from a wooden deck and covered deck where the ordinance requires an 8-foot separation. Staff noted the lot was created in late 2021 and could not recommend approval under the strict letter of the ordinance, but the board found the deviation modest.
