The Village of Rothschild Board voted unanimously to adopt Resolution 2026-04, which imposes an initial one-year moratorium on new data-center developments while staff and trustees research ordinance standards. Administrator Ryan VanDeWalle said the pause will allow the village to consider standards related to health, safety and nuisance impacts before any new projects proceed.
