The Board adopted a resolution at its Aug. 18 meeting proclaiming August 2026 as Child Support Awareness Month in Santa Barbara County. Clerk read the resolution, which emphasized child-support services' role in strengthening families and cited county figures that Child Support Services serves nearly 9,200 cases and distributes approximately $28,300,000 in annual support.
