Matthew Bellantoni said he circulated his draft language on swimming pools to board members and to Martha Harrison at MARC and said the primary objective is safety. "The whole idea is safety," Bellantoni said, noting he had reviewed approaches used by other towns and still favors requiring barriers around pools.
