Wright County accepts high bid for Gulshed property after closed session
The Wright County Board of Supervisors opened sealed bids for the Gulshed parcel, held a closed session under Iowa Code 21.5(1)(j), and voted to accept the high bid of $40,000 from Jason Coolers despite it not meeting the advertised minimum because of the bidders stated intended use.

Chairperson Ashley Bosch called the board to order and, after routine minutes and approvals, the board opened two sealed bids for the Gulshed property at 9:30 a.m. The bids were announced as Jason Cers for $40,000 and Leaf Eric Botney for $21,500.
