Commissioner Webb reports RTC items, McKinney passenger-rail study paused pending local DART withdrawal election

Commissioner Webb summarized the Regional Transportation Council meeting he attended: two items (the Federal Railroad Administration Corridor Identification Program and an FTA NEPA initiative) were approved to move forward, while the McKinney passenger-rail corridor study (an extension of the existing rail line from Plano to McKinney) was put on hold pending a DART withdrawal election scheduled in Plano for May.
