The Rains ISD Board of Trustees approved an updated Multi‑Hazard Emergency Operations Plan (MHEOP) at its Oct. 13 meeting. Superintendent Joe Nicks told the board that templates provided by the Texas School Safety Center had changes in organization and activities related to the Active Threat Annex, and those changes were incorporated into the district plan.
