Collin County adopts updated thoroughfare plan after wide-ranging public hearing
After a lengthy public hearing and question-and-answer session, the Collin County Commissioners Court approved revisions to the county thoroughfare plan 4–0. Staff said the plan is a master forecast and may be amended as TxDOT and city studies progress.

The Collin County Commissioners Court voted unanimously to adopt revisions to the county thoroughfare plan following a public hearing that drew hundreds of participants and dozens of comments. The motion to approve the plan was made by a commissioner and seconded by Commissioner Hale; the court recorded a 4–0 vote in favor.
