The Lovejoy ISD Board of Trustees approved a Class Size Exemption Resolution on Aug. 25 in a 6–1 vote. The motion to approve was made by Mark Wheelis and seconded by Barrett Owens; Trustee Aubrey Stock recorded the only 'Nay.'
