Board accepts revised doors at 40 Main Street after noting deviation from approved design

Owner and applicant Sarena Strauss appeared before the board regarding doors recently installed at 40 Main Street. Board member Todd Seekircher said the installation was a "vast departure" from what had been approved and the owner said she had made multiple attempts to contact Village Hall about the change. K. van Voorhees proposed accepting the installed design if the center mullion on the pair of swing doors is removed. The board approved the doors as proposed on revised shop drawings; the motion was seconded by Vice Chair Lauren Wallis Hall and recorded as 4-0-1 (T. Seekircher abstained).
