The HOWE ISD Board adopted the 2026–27 Student Code of Conduct at the July 20 meeting; superintendent said there were no substantive changes from the previous year's document.

Superintendent Ritchie Bowling presented the proposed 2026–27 Student Code of Conduct and reported that there were no substantive changes from the prior year’s document. Jeff Dailey moved to adopt the Code of Conduct and Casey Davis provided the second. The motion passed 7-0.
