Dr. Collins, chief of staff for Prince George's County Public Schools, and Simone, the district's supervisor for literacy, presented 'Forward by Design: Acceleration 2029' as PGCPS's roadmap for improving student outcomes. The district said it has collected extensive community feedback and identified five priority areas — student success, staff and leaders, expanding access, equity, and family partnerships — and plans to move from district blueprint requirements to deeper school-level implementation.
