Second reading set for Oct. 5; county lays out timeline for adoption and effect

County attorney told commissioners that after the first reading the board must wait at least 10 days before a second reading (expected Oct. 5), the board may amend the ordinance at that hearing, and any adopted ordinance would take effect 30 days after publication of the final language.
