The board voted to approve participation in a Workforce Solutions externship program that partners teachers with employers, including Noble Construction, to bring industry practices into classrooms. Trustees discussed program logistics and costs and noted the partnership'model includes follow-up support and lesson-plan materials from employers. "They do back and forth with that continued support so it is a great partnership," a trustee said when describing Noble's follow-up visits and lesson plans.
