County staff and consultants presented the Urban Forest Master Plan as a countywide tool to coordinate tree planting across 15 municipalities. The plan provides an interactive map to identify priority planting areas based on heat exposure, socioeconomic indicators and existing canopy coverage, and includes an ordinance roadmap for local jurisdictions.
