Commissioners adopt budget amendment for insurance proceeds from FY24 hail damage

Auditor Miss Hayes presented a budget amendment under "local government code 111011," explaining the county had received insurance proceeds at the end of FY24 related to vehicle hail damage and the vehicles are still undergoing repair. She said the amendment increases budgeted insurance-proceed revenue and that "the net impact is zero." The court approved the amendment 4–0.
