Bayfield County was one of three counties awarded an $80,000 WEDC Key Strategic Partnership Grant to support a one-year Housing Development Fellow, the committee heard May 15. Deputy Administrator Kelly Westlund explained the grant is balanced in the county budget and that the selected fellow will focus on county projects, notably an additional development project at Aurora Place in Washburn.
