The board approved a set of departmental backfills (highway maintenance, corrections, environmental services and HHS), acknowledged resignations of multiple social workers and an environmental technician, and approved position regrades and retitles in Health & Human Services following a Springstead classification review.

Commissioner Ludwig presented detailed personnel items and the board approved backfills across departments and acknowledged several resignations during the Personnel Committee report. Highway positions (maintenance worker, mechanic) were authorized to be backfilled with starting wages noted in the 2025–2026 public works budget; the Sheriff's Office was approved to backfill a part-time corrections officer while recruitment is delayed due to COVID staffing shortages; Environmental Services resignation of Samantha Gasser (effective Dec. 12) was acknowledged; Health & Human Services approved backfill of eligibility worker positions, regrading of child support supervisor and a new social services manager title following a Springstead classification review.
