Hillsdale awarded NYSDOS Climate Smart grant to update Comprehensive Plan; Town to draft RFP

Hillsdale was notified by press release that it has been awarded a New York State Department of State (NYSDOS) Climate Smart Communities grant to revise the town’s Comprehensive Plan. Jamie Carano Nordenstrom, the Town Council liaison, told the Conservation Advisory Council that the Town Board must execute the contract with NYSDOS before the town undertakes any reimbursable work under the grant.
