Board approves engineering contract with Rio Delta for International Drive improvements

The board approved a professional services contract with Rio Delta Engineering to support the International Drive project. Ivan Garcia of Rio Delta told the board his team has staged subconsultants, completed drone flights to document existing conditions and coordinated with TxDOT; he said kickoff meetings will be scheduled once the contract is executed. Staff listed contract tasks including topographic surveying, roadway and drainage design, environmental clearance and bidding assistance.
