The Town of Union board adopted a resolution authorizing the execution of a tentative three‑year agreement between the town and the Civil Service Employees Association/AFSCME Local (blue‑collar unit), contingent on full ratification by the parties. Mr. Nerie presented the resolution and the board voted by roll call; after the vote a board member observed that both sides were "very happy with the new contract for the blue collar guys."
