The Jasper City Council on June 9 voted unanimously to deny an appeal related to plumbing arrangements for a proposed restaurant at 450 E. Gibson. Inspector Jeremy Chesnutt told the council that his plan review found the installation did not comply with the International Plumbing Code (Section 405.3.2), which requires lavatory fixtures to be in the same room as water closets and urinals.
