Council told cemetery fund will be closed; maintenance to continue under general fund

During questions on fund balance, staff explained the cemetery fund is being removed and absorbed into the general fund because it no longer generates sufficient revenue to stand alone. As finance staff explained, "the cemetery fund is actually being removed as a fund and it's going to be placed into the general fund in this budget year," and maintenance responsibilities will continue under the clerk and general fund transfers.
