Christina Gallegos, the district's director of special programs, presented the RDA Co-Teach Model to trustees during the Nov. 10 meeting. Gallegos described the model as "an instructional approach in which a general education teacher and a special education teacher work together in the same classroom to provide inclusive support for students," and explained how co-teaching can expand differentiated instruction and intervention supports.
