District student services staff described a pilot of a "critical behavior classroom" designed as a short-term, intensive intervention (typically 30–45 days) for elementary students who need concentrated behavioral instruction. The pilot would use portable units at the Spring Creek campus, include a coordinator, a classroom teacher and two paraprofessionals, and accept roughly one new referral per week to manage capacity.
