Evergreen Elementary project ahead of schedule, district presenter says
District project staff told the board that footings are in place, formwork and prefabrication are underway, and GMP 3 (full project GMP) will be presented at the next meeting; staff said 90% CDs are due Oct. 19 and 100% CDs by mid-to-late December with occupancy targeted late July next year.

A district construction presenter (Speaker 6) told the board the Evergreen Elementary project is progressing well: site utilities and sidewalks are in place, footings have been poured in most areas, formwork is set and crews plan to begin prefabricating walls on site next week. The presenter said three contract amendments have already been executed (validation and two guaranteed maximum price agreements) and that GMP 3, which will cover the full project budget under the progressive design-build model, will be presented to the board at a future meeting.
