Denmark board adopts multi‑municipal Comprehensive Plan

The Town of Denmark Board adopted Resolution 126 of 2025 on Dec. 15, formally adopting the Denmark–Copenhagen–Castorland Comprehensive Plan after a public hearing with no public comment. The plan incorporates Lewis County Planning Board modifications and was adopted by roll call vote 4–Aye, 0–Noe, 1‑Absent.

The Town of Denmark Town Board adopted the Denmark–Copenhagen–Castorland (DCC) Comprehensive Plan via Resolution 126 of 2025 during its Dec. 15 meeting. Supervisor Scott Doyle and three councilmembers voted in favor; Councilmember Darlene Rowsam was recorded absent. The board stated for the record that the required public notice had been published in the Journal & Republican and posted in multiple public locations; no written or oral comments were received at the 6:00 p.m. hearing.
