City staff told the Board of Adjustment that proposed amendments to buffer requirements for the Oldtown Commercial District—recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission—will go to the Board of Aldermen on Aug. 27 and could make the parking-buffer portion of the variance request unnecessary.

Amy Stark, Fenton’s community development director, told the Board of Aldermen Board of Adjustment on Aug. 18 that the Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended amendments to the Oldtown Commercial District buffer requirements and that those amendments will be considered by the Board of Aldermen on Aug. 27.
