The Lapeer County Board of Commissioners approved two motions July 23 to supply Sublocade injections for qualified inmates using opioid settlement funds. The first motion authorized payment of $15,527.20 to AmerisourceBergen for 10 injections; a second motion authorized the Sheriff's Office to purchase up to 50 additional injections from Besse Medical at a cost not to exceed $77,636.00, to be paid from opioid settlement funds.
