Kevin Jones of the fire marshal's office told the applicant that the main roadway must be at least 20 feet wide and that the subdivision will need a pond supported by a 50‑year drought study because there are no hydrants on Lem Turner Road. "You would need a pond that has a 50 year drought study as there's no hydrants on Lemm Turner," Jones said, and that a dry hydrant must be provided with no structures within 100 feet of it.
